Tips on watching the webcast
- Requirements: To watch the streaming video, you'll need the latest version of QuickTime. It's a free download. You'll also need to be sure your browser has javascript enabled, and a broadband Internet connection. You also may need to make a simple fix to your QuickTime settings.
- When we broadcast: If you click the video above and get a "404: Not found" message, that just means we're not broadcasting at the moment. Our meetings normally start at 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and last about 30 minutes each, Monday through Friday.
- I'm seeing green! If you connect to the video stream and initially see a green screen, don't worry. The normal picture will pop in momentarily.
- What's everyone looking at? Get the lay of the land around the meeting table.
- Troubleshooting: Some networks automatically block certain types of streaming media. If you meet the requirements listed above and you're still having trouble connecting to our webcast, there's an easy fix to try:
Open QuickTime and navigate to Edit > Quicktime Preferences (on a Mac, just select QuickTime Player > QuickTime Preferences). Click on the Advanced tab and change your Transport Setup from Automatic to Custom. This pops up a box where you can switch your Transport Protocol to HTTP (leave the port setting at 80). Close out your QuickTime Preferences, then try reloading this page.
If this doesn't help you, then your network has probably locked down all incoming streaming traffic.
